Whiskey Daredevils Heading To Texas
The Whiskey Daredevils will be loading up the Whiskey Wagon and hitting the road this March. While this technically is a "tour", it is really just the reality of having to take all your gear to Austin, Texas to play SXSW. The band will be playing a few cities that they've never played before, and probably never will again. (I'm talking to you Kansas City and San Antonio!) So if you live out in that general direction and wanted to see what America's best country punkabilly band looked like live on stage, this would be your finest opportunity.
It should also be noted that "The Whiskey Daredevils Greatest Hits Vol 2" is out in all of its resplendant 12 inch vinyl glory. This item will not be for sale online, and will only be available at the shows. It would be great to tell you that's because we only want to make it available to the "real fans" that come out to gigs, but it's really because we don't have any 12 inch vinyl record shipping boxes and it's a pain in the ass to buy less than 500 of them. This is a really good record if we don't say so ourselves, and it even comes with two tracks available only on the LP, Link Wray's "Run Chicken Run" and "Bar-B-Que Bob" the story of a Wilmington NC weed dealer and bar-b-que expert we know that made a successful run for the border.
Quite a few brand new songs have crawled out of the basement recently including "Honest Man", "Gentleman Caller", "Corina", and "Jackie Van Hamm" with "Never Again", "Milwaukee Eight", "One Less Than .45", "Kentucky Down Under", "A Willie Nelson Song", and "Damn Fool" not far behind. Rumor has it there's another five or six that are just starting to get kicked around now. The one thing with the Whiskey Daredevils is that if you don't like the last song you heard, chances are you might like the next one. And if you don't like that, there's another one on the way.
Back in stock on the music page... "Old Favorites" and "Live in Berlin". There's a limited number of both that came in from Germany, so if you want it, get it now!

A few of us are excited to make the trip down from Omaha to catch the show... hopefully it won't be the last....
