We have our seventh full length CD ready to release Friday August 6th at The Happy Dog. Titled "Legends of Country Punk", this release has us collaborating with ex-Cowslinger guitarist Bobby Latina, as well as fiddle ringer Bill Lestock and banjo extradonaire "Paul Kovacs" for a mostly acoustic hillbilly take on new Daredevil originals, obscure cover tunes, and even the overlooked Cowslinger original "Rabbit's Foot" from the band's last vinyl only European release. Recorded in the downtime this Spring when Ken was in Washington, DC to finish his master's degree, these sessions were meant to be like a loose one take hootenanny vibe. Instead, once the band hunkered down with Don DePew at 609 Recording, it was business as usual when it appeared the sessions were more productive than originally planned.
Made in a limited run of 1000, these discs will only be available at Daredevil's shows here and in Europe this Fall when the band heads over for 16 shows in Holland, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. For those unable to get to a gig, they will also be made available briefly here on the website.
The Happy Dog Show will feature like minded local acts Heelsplitter, and Scoliois Jones. Don't miss out, folks!
