After surviving both events in sun drenched Cleveland, the Whiskey Daredevils will climb back into the van to head to one of their favorite venues, the Northside Tavern in Cincinnati this Friday. The band is expecting to get to town a little early to finalize their deal with Shake It Records for the new "The Whiskey Daredevils" full length CD. Rumors of a signing bonus consisting of "gently used" Byrds, Mountain Goats, and Rev. Horton Heat CDs are as of this time unsubstantiated. However, we can confirm that Leo will spend an hour browsing inside the store and purchase nothing.
The band expects to roll out more new material this Friday night after putting the whip to Sugar once again to learn more songs. Sugar has kept right up with the onslaught of new songs, and has begun to learn to live the Daredevil Lifestyle. Please click on the above photo to note her arrival to Burning River Fest via golf cart and then having her gear carried in by security. Once again the Daredevils show the world they are like U2 on a very tight budget.
